Very nice rooms, privacy, location, and very friendly management. If I ever make it back to Oslo, I will stay at the Chateau Apartments.
Nice apartments, good location
Internet connection, couldn't send emails, no T.v,
The apartments are nicely refurnished and pleasant. The beds are comfortable. The showers are also nice. The manager is friendly and helpful.
Tv and better curtains are missing. The currents curtains are too thin and bright during summer days. Better parking spots are needed. Management is nice and friendly but it gives the impression of insufficiency.
I love everything about this apartment! No more scaffolding..very quiet in the evening.... :)
I recommend family to stay in this apartment.
Tv, internet is missing
Location in relation to Oslo City centre was good. Well within walking distance of City attractions. If you like running /walking it is possible to run along the river away from City or vice versa. River walks were fine and there are a number of restaurants along the river close to the apartment block. The apartment had plenty of hot water and also had wifi access.
The lack of kitchen equipment and crockery, no television. There was no cleaning equipment even to deal with crumbs or spills. The area, although fine in relation to the City centre, appeared to be frequented by undesirables and what appeared to be street drug traders. There was a lot of street drinking taking place close to the apartment and almost all outside walls even of the apartments, were covered by graffiti. Our apartment although reasonable had a very poor view from its windows and looked out onto a building site.
The apartments were under renovation, so expect some messy surroundings. But the room was perfectly clean with kitchen & bathroom. Both receptionists were very helpful and did their best to make our short stay as comfortable as possible.
Very good central location for walking round Oslo; very well appointed and clean.
Over the weekend there was a lot of noise at night from revelling youth in the park. So we had to keep the windows closed till they finally went home. It was midsummer so we can't blame them!
- You need to call the reception staff in order to check in (if checking- in late, maybe).
We had very comfortable apartments with 3 bedrooms, living room - kitchen (fully equiped except dishwashing mashine), 2 bathroms. The Hotel is still under repair, so think, that the price will be higher.
The parking in Oslo is a big problem, so for the travellers - go and take the traffic regulations and parking guideline, because even at 2 o'clock in the night you can receive the penalty invoice. :-(
Chateau apartments were conveniently located. There was complimentary wifi.
The studio was small. There was no tv, but there appeared to be a cable/satellite connection.
Spacious, with kitchen facilities, free wired internet
This place is a joke. Our room had no wardrobe, no hangers, and no bed linen until we asked for it, no chairs, and no table. There are stains on the mattress. They have a chandelier with 16 lights in a little studio, a fridge for a family of 8, 8 glasses, 12 plates, 6 kitchen knives. I am really not sure what was the person thinking when they purchased all of this. They didn’t clean our room once for the 4 nights we slept there, they didn’t give us any new towel during our stay, there is scaffolding outside the window, there is no hand soap or toothbrush holder. There is no TV in the room however there was a remote control on the floor and a box, when we asked about the TV they said that box on the floor was for the internet connection, they didn’t say anything about the remote. I’m not sure where these people come from. They also said the reason why they have no TV is because in Oslo is difficult to order lots of TV’s. We asked for an iron and we were told that they will call us back and they never did. My boyfriend got stuck on the lift on the first day. There is no reception so every time you want to talk to someone you have to call them, they hardly answer and when they do they don’t do help. Seriously this place should be shut.
The reception disk was difficult to reach but was very helpful when they were there
the apartment was spacious.
Tiny little bits are missing from the apartment to make it really comfortable, for example hangers in the bathroom.
